2022 Support Program
Upon graduation as Alumni and members of the LAP Alumni Network (one of the strongest and unique professional networks of outstanding people and organizations in Poland) you will receive special support and take part in a 1-year support program centered around 4 quarterly meetings (Q-meetings), including academic sessions with international professors, and monthly 8-10 L-Nest meetings for each one of you.
The first two Q-meetings will take place on March 4th and June 3rd.
Our support program does not mean only academic activities, as being a member of the LAP Alumni Network, creates also social and cultural opportunities with special, free of charge invitations to the Opera and other cultural centers in Warsaw (POLIN, Zachęta museums), Katowice (NOSPR), and Łódź (EC1).
Application to Leadership Nests (Nests)
Upon graduation - as members of the LAP Alumni Network (LAP-AN) - you will be granted a free of charge license to use Nest methodology and thus you will have unique access to regular Nest meetings with other Alumni. You will be able to receive continuous help and support and also offer help to others.
In the first year upon graduation, you will continue working with your current class Nest and in the future you will be able to mix with other Nests, if for some reason you or your Nest decies so.
With a view to protect Nest groups’ learning and consistency, access to Nests is available only to those Alumni who are willing to seriously commit to the process.
If you want to make this commitment and you wish to keep being connected with your Nest group, please apply and confirm below. Please take the decision carefully, knowing that you are giving your word and that the commitment is critical to group learning.
Please state why you want to participate in your Nests:
By applying to Nest you agree to the following rules::
- Nest meets regularly and runs minimum 8-10 meetings a year – at least once a year, L-Nest group organizes at least 1 full-day retreat.
- Nest member can miss max. 2 meetings per year.
- License for participating in the Nest is suspended automatically if a member misses more than 2 meetings.
- Suspended members may re-apply for a new Nest group only in the next year and with the approval of the group and the LAP coordinating board.
- No guarantee is given to re-join the same Nest after suspension.
- Nest members adhere to the L-Nest methodology set out in the Nest guide including requirements such as confidentiality or sending evaluations.
Your Support for the Academy & Rules for Fellowships
In accordance to the Rules for Fellowships (review here) at the end of the program we will ask you, as Alumni of the Academy, for a alumni commitment contribution to support future editions of the Academy and the LAP Alumni Network.
The value of each LAP Fellowship is estimated at EUR 21 500, a price that most of our fellows could not afford.
If you want the Academy to continue to be able to open that same doors of opportunity for future talented fellows, please do contribute and support the Academy.
Commitment contribution is also part of LAP tradition and an intergenerational support that helps create and sustain the LAP Alumni Network which you will be part of after graduation.
We very much hope that you will be active members of the LAP Alumni Network and help us develop the Academy forward.
As we look to the future, our most important priority is building and sustaining an educational environment where Poles can thrive and build a good future, with an overarching aspiration of creating a world-class university in our country that will work for all of us in Poland and for our children.
